We work around the clock at our Rhode Island-based factory to produce ready-to-use therapeutic foods like Plumpy’Nut to treat malnutrition.
Since 2010, in partnership with 100 NGOs and Ministries of Health, Edesia’s therapeutic foods have helped to save the lives of 28 million children in 65 countries.
Last month, Edesia entered the Top 50 list of international NGO’s in the USA and was named the fastest financial climber, coming in at #43.
In 2023, Edesia received a transformational gift from the Bezos family to dramatically expand our factory and R&D efforts.
Factory expansion will be operational in fall 2026, increasing production by 65%, allowing us to make 13 million packets of life-saving therapeutic food per week making us the largest producer in the world and have the ability to reach 10 million children every year.
